Here's 16 year old me rapping about my experience as a Hurricane Katrina survivor. August 29th, 2005, Katrina completely destroyed my hometown Biloxi. My brothers and I created this song initially to make our friends laugh in our darkest hour and to express our frustration with the government's response. We didn't know that radio stations across the South would pick it up! Shout out to all the survivors of The Big Storm, we are forever tied together by that gnarly experience.
